One Wish is awarded charity status

Although I've been poorly all week (hence the pyjamas!) and I'm certainly not fit for photos, this moment absolutely needed to be captured for posterity.

Today, my very own charity, the One Wish Dog Foundation was awarded registered charity status by the Charity Commission!

I've been sobbing with joy for the past few hours. We can finally get started!

We've got BIG (and very exciting) ambitions, and now that we have our charity status, we can start to make those dreams a reality. There'll be lots happening in the coming months, and many, many ways that you'll be able to support us.

One Wish won't just be about rescuing and rehoming; it will be about educating the public around welfare and good dog ownership, providing support for rescue dog owners and owners who are struggling, and campaigning for change.

I'm so excited for you to be a part of this adventure. Please help me to transform the lives of dogs in need. If you haven't already done so, please follow our social media pages to stay up to date about what we're up to. And please spread the word about One Wish amongst your friends and family.
