Meet Billy!

We’re looking for the holy grail of homes for this special boy. We know the odds are totally against us but we won’t give up. 

​

Poor Billy was hours away from being left behind. At risk of abandonment in a cold, empty property with no food, no water and no way out, he would have starved to death and we couldn’t let that happen.

​

Billy is a 6 year old Jackapoo now in the care of One Wish. It’s heart-breakingly clear that he’s been through trauma. He’s frightened, unsure, and sometimes reacts out of fear.

 

As a tiny, brand new rescue, our resources are extremely limited. But we knew we had no choice. The alternative was unthinkable.

Billy is currently in kennels where he is safe, warm and well cared for. But kennels can only be a short-term solution.

We are desperately searching for a foster (or adoptive) home where Billy can begin to heal. Billy needs someone truly special: a calm, compassionate, and patient person, in a pet-free and child-free home, ideally in the Oxfordshire area but we can consider further afield.

This is more than just fostering. It’s giving a vulnerable soul the chance to trust again and to be cared for the way he deserves.
