This gorgeous pup came into our care as a stray. We can't even begin to imagine why on earth someone would abandon him. He's absolutely wonderful!

Lucky (he was given his name as he is the 13th One Wish dog) is still just a baby. Our vet thinks he is around a year old, and he is so puppy-like that he may even be younger! Playful and excitable, he has a joyful zest for life and he loves cuddles. Whilst in foster care, he has been enjoying long, sniffy walks and lots of games, and he'll conk out in his bed, snoozing soundly once he has had enough.

He's a Labrador but small for his breed, and we believe that he is crossed with a Collie. He is a clever boy and he will need plenty of enrichment in his forever home to keep his brain busy and happy. He is still very much learning the ropes so his new family will need to commit to plenty of training. He's food-motivated and loves praise though, so training with him should be an absolute pleasure.

We believe that Lucky will be able to share his home with other dogs, as has been on some lovely walks with the Leafield village dogs since he has been in our care. A few gentle introductions with any resident dogs will be needed, and they would need to be tolerant whilst he learns boundaries. We don't think that Lucky socialised with other dogs very much in his previous life. He hasn't been tested around cats and small furries but we can consider households with children over 12 years old (older children only because he's still a bouncy boy).

Lucky will make the most brilliant pet for an active family who have plenty of time for his training and development needs. If you think you might be able to offer this lovely lad a lifetime of love, please register your interest below. Alternatively, please contact Jenna at info@onewishdogs.co.uk or on 07850 465077
