
Web Site Manager
Our website is often the first place people discover One Wish Dog Foundation. It tells our story, showcases our impact, finds our dogs their forever homes and encourages supporters to get involved. As our Website Manager, you’ll play a key role in making sure that experience is clear, welcoming, and inspiring.
This is a flexible, creative role ideal for someone who enjoys working with websites, values good presentation, and wants their skills to directly support dogs in need.
What You’ll Do

Update and maintain the charity’s Wix website, ensuring all information is accurate, current, and attractively presented.

Add and edit pages relating to fundraising activities, events, news, appeals, and success stories.

Upload and format photos, text, and basic media content provided by the charity.

Ensure the website consistently reflects the charity’s branding, tone of voice, and values.

Collaborate with trustees and volunteers to identify content needs, improvements, and new ideas.

Regularly check links, forms, and basic functionality to ensure a smooth and positive user experience.

Support occasional time‑sensitive updates, such as urgent appeals or campaign launches.

Suggest ideas to improve engagement, accessibility, and clarity for website visitors.
Desirable Skills & Experience
You don’t need to be a professional web developer, support and content will be provide. But this role is well suited to someone with:

Experience using Wix or similar website builders

A good eye for layout, presentation, and detail

Basic website editing skills (text, images, page structure)

Confidence updating content independently and responsibly

Good written communication skills

An understanding of branding and tone of voice

Organised, reliable, and comfortable managing small ongoing tasks
